Recently, we have noticed an issue where customers using the app are receiving a large number of identical push notifications in a short period of time. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused.
■ Overview of the problem Beginning at approximately 12:10 on May 30, 2025, an incident occurred in which the same push notification was repeatedly sent multiple times for approximately one hour.
■ Cause of the issue: This issue was caused by an inconsistency that occurred as a result of an update to the notification distribution system by the app provider. As a result, the same notification was being sent repeatedly.
■ Current response and measures to prevent recurrence The following response has been completed by the app provider.・Review and fix the process that caused the problem ・Implement a system to prevent the same notifications from being sent repeatedly in the future ・Strengthen the system for verifying operation when updating the system
The service is now operating as normal, and we are taking steps to prevent a similar issue from recurring in the future. For customers who have turned off notifications in response to this issue, we would appreciate it if you could turn them back on again.
